Gynecological diseases

Gynecological diseases are a collective name for various diseases of ovaries, uterus and its appendages, and ovarian cancers. A special place is occupied by inflammatory diseases that often affect the entire pelvic area. The seriousness of these diseases is due to the fact that they affect organs and tissues that are relevant to the reproductive sphere, and can lead to serious violations of women’s reproductive function.

Usually, inflammatory diseases arise as a result of infection or bacterial infections as a result of sexually transmitted infections. The most common diseases are trichomoniasis, Chlamydiosis, particularly common vaginal bacteria overgrowth and the accompanying candidiasis (thrush). Not to delay treatment of these diseases, because the slightest delay can lead to complications such as ectopic pregnancy and infertility.

The reasons for gynecological diseases are different – from environmental degradation to the uncontrolled use of antibiotics and promiscuous, hypothermia, surgery, childbirth, abortion and non-intimate hygiene.

Inflammatory gynecological diseases are divided into specific and nonspecific. Specific causes genital infections, such as the gonococcus, treponema, and mycoplasma. These include gonorrhea, syphilis, Chlamydiosis and others. Non-specific diseases are caused by microorganisms, dangerous only under certain conditions – for example, Gardnerella, enterococcus, E. coli and various fungi. Fundamental difference between the symptoms of specific and nonspecific diseases no difference between them is only in need of treatment of all partners of a patient whose infection is discovered.

Symptoms of gynecological diseases may be vaginal discharge, genital itching, frequent urination, pain during intercourse. Also, inflammation is often a fever.
